I got a new puppy! He's a playmate for my 1 year old mini schnauzer, Jock. They get along so well and it's so fun having 2 dogs now. Here's a pic:

So, how was everyone's weekend? Mine was good! Mom and mamaw came into town and we went shopping, which is always a fun thing to do!!

Ralphie May is cominng to the Tennessee Theater on the 22nd of this month. Who is he, you say? Well, I don't know really. All I know is he's a stand up comedian, I've been wanting to see a stand-up comedian live forever and so I'm going! Yippee Skippy!!

Yippee Skippy, it's warm out now!!! I love waking up and it being 60 degrees already. There's nowhere to go but up. I worked the 10-7 shift today, which is actually very awesome if you only do it 1 day per week and that day is Friday! 'Cause I can sleep late and just drift through the day. I have 1 hour and 45 minutes and 20 seconds..and counting left before I can go home. But, the funny thing is, I'll probably be doing the same thing when I go home as I am now. I've had a pretty good week, I can't believe that it's almost April already! I really wanna play an April Fools joke on someone, but have no real ideas yet. We'll see what I come up with. So, anyone who sees me tomorrow, BEWARE!! :) It's yucky rainy out. I could definately take a nap.

It's amazing how many homeless people are here in Knoxville. It's become a part of everyday life here. But, everyone's got a choice, huh? Wish they knew there is something better out there! Anyway, write me and I'll see you all soon, I'm sure.

So you say "I don't know any of these bands..". It's $10 at the door and they're all awesome. It's at the Thomson Bolin Arena, their biggest venue on the tour, at 7:00 PM Friday (tomorrow) and their website is jamtour.com.

My papaw

My papaw was diagnosed with lung cancer, Mesothilioma, in August 2005. The doctors gave him 6 months to live and he died Tuesday, February 7th. He got this cancer from working in asbestos when he was younger and also smoking cigarettes. He fought in Vietnam for our country. I was at my grandparents house constantly and even after I moved to Knoxville, I visited them frequently. This is because it is a fun place to be and he always had a smile for everyone. He was 63 years old when he died. To the left is a poem from the funeral that says everything best. Below is his obituary with a photo.

Well, I'm pretty good into my new job now and I still like it! That's always a good thing. I had a Mary Kay girlie girl party last Friday night, which was awesome! I got some free stuff and had a bunch of people over. We all had a good time. Everyone knows this because I told them. :) This 3-DAY (uh-huh, uh-huh) weekend I'll be checkin out the Fairfield-River in Gatlinburg. jacuzzi, fireplace..yeah, I think it'll be nice!! Thanks David Phistry!! :) I'm back in the school groove again - usually very boring. However, Gail and I spice it up a little..taking pics of each other with my new RAZOR phone and stuff. yipee!

I'm on MySpace now, with everyone and their grandma, so look for me. I have like..1 friend! So, people, start a MySpace account and invite me as a friend or I'm going to look freaking lame! Well, I'm bouncing now, I see you lata!!
